We hope you find our website helpful and informative. Thatto Heath Playdays is a family-run business with a highly qualified and experienced team, passionate about working with young children.
We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care that supports your child’s development and helps them reach their full potential. We cater for children aged 18 months to 4 years, and our dedicated staff ensure that every child feels loved, secure, and supported in the absence of their parents
We provide a warm, safe, and secure environment where children feel comfortable and confident to learn through their own play and interests. We believe that meaningful learning happens through rich, well-supported play experiences that reflect each child’s unique curiosity and individuality. By offering first-hand, engaging opportunities and stimulating resources, we encourage children to explore, experiment, and develop independence at their own pace.
We are committed to working in close partnership with parents and families
to support each child’s individual needs, ensuring they feel happy, secure, and
well cared for. We pride ourselves on being an open and approachable team,
welcoming ideas and input to help us create a true “home from home”
environment. We actively encourage family involvement by inviting parents into
the nursery to read with the children and take part in our stay-and-play
sessions, helping to build strong, supportive relationships.
Our Nursery
Thatto Heath Playdays is situated in Nutgrove Community Centre, a property which has been purpose built for a children’s nursery. The nursery has two large rooms, a sensory/sleep room and a large outdoor play area. We are open 8am – 4.30pm. Monday – Friday. We run an afterschool service from Nutgrove school every evening.
In April 2022 we were inspected by Ofsted and we recieved OUTSTANDING in all areas. Click here to view our report

Our Location
We are situated in a great location in Thatto Heath. We are next to Nutgrove Methodist Church and Nutgrove Methodist school. We have strong links with all local schools in the area.
